I’m one of those people who write to think and learn best by teaching. If I want to understand something for myself, I tell it to other people. Unfortunately, I’m also an introvert. I’m not someone who goes bombing into conversations yelling, ‘listen to my new idea on what shape the world should be!’

So this is where you come in, imaginary reader on the entirely fictional internet. You’re the person I’ll bomb into conversations with; you’re the person who listens to my latest unfocussed ramblings. With a bit of luck, what I write will be worth an imaginary reader’s attention – knowing, as I do, that my imaginary reader is the toughest of critics.

On this blog, I’ll write about education, music, feminism and anything else that takes my fancy. I’ll write when I have energy and an idea that needs exploring. And if you ever meet me in real life, let me know what you think of my ideas. I’ll probably have entirely changed them by then.
